Vintage Pressed Flowers was made from a loving memory with my great grandma. She and Granddaddy had so many Nancy Drew books…too many to count. Everyone in the family has read them. I was the first great grandkid, and when it was my turn to start reading them…to my surprise, pressed peonies fell from one as it opened. Grandma was right next to me and she lit up with joy, just as I did. She was so surprised to see them and recalled that she had put them there years and years ago. We had such a nice laugh. I can still remember the smell of those old books. I miss her.
