🍂amberglow feels like my pride and joy it is such a unique colorway! it is so tricky to get metallic type colorways to translate to wool (have you ever seen gold hair dye that looks like the real thing??) anywho, it is a brilliant bronzed amber gold, with lots of depth and wonder. it is so stunning! i was told it looks like pure spun gold on mohair silk and that is just so true. i’m so excited about it!! i’ve never seen a colorway like it! 

🍂color theory/season/etc from a personal stylist+cosmetologist’s view~ amberglow is a rich, warm amber gold. it reminds me of candlelight, but the glow around the candle. like the color of pure maple mixed with gold. it feels classic and timeless, and so rich. it was formulated using multiple opposites on the color wheel to get it just right. one of my most “goldilocks” colorways. in consideration of warm/neutral/cool tones~ it is definitely warm toned! in terms of chroma/saturation~ it is mid to slightly deep, and it almost wants to be vibrant but it’s not. it is rich while keeping a nice softness to it. amberglow is very timeless, this is a must in your wardrobe.

this color is great for those with any amount of contrast and compliments warm toned people best👌

contrast~ basic examples: low contrast~ dark blond to light brunette hair, medium toned skin, soft eyes. high contrast~ very dark hair, very deep or pale skin, bright or very deep eyes.

🍁foundational info~ (same on each listing, i know it’s a lot! but it’s all valuable!)

•my tonals are always very consistent in tone, as each dye pigment is measured to the microgram, for accurate repeatability. my tonal method is tried and true and creates colorways that are more “solid”. a typical handdyed “tonal” commonly creates unintentional striping in garments due to uneven dye saturation, which can disturb stitch patterns~ i created a method for my tonals that prioritizes even distribution, and creates a beautiful, cohesive fabric, therefore my tonals behave more like solids. some variation is normal and expected, and is the art of handdyed yarn~but it should be minor. you are in good hands here 🫶🏻

•about the photos~ my photos are not edited, they are taken under daylight mimicking studio lighting. while monitors can vary slightly, my photos are reliable. i’m so proud to say that out of thousands of skeins that have left my hands, not a single person has told me they didn’t look like the photos. i feel so proud about this! 

•accessibility collection skeins are dyed to order (so, i dye them as they come in, orders placed first are dyed first, etc)

•the turnaround for this collection is 4-6 weeks, but if you place your order within the first day or so it’ll likely be out within a week! i will post updates on instagram on my progress and process as always :)
