Cosmic is a yarn with a halo!! (Cosmic is beautifully unique and inventive enough to be awaiting its design patent 😉) I designed this colorway using chemistry knowledge from my collegiate days- it requires two days of process and three separate dye application sessions- hence the $2 upcharge. It’s worth it, promise!🧪

It comes off this spacey periwinkle-purply-blue~ but when you look close, and move it around, it has a vibrant pink halo! Under the halo, it’s mostly a solid periwinkle with some strokes of pink! The uniqueness is all in that halo! I already have tons of project ideas! 💫

I provided a video- the halo is rather difficult to capture on video- I have dyed hundreds of skeins of this colorway when writing this (2026) and have only heard such wonderful things, I’m so grateful for how well received and loved this colorway is! 🩵

This effect is especially noticeable in high twist… noticeable in all other bases- and not noticeable in mohair ~mohair is more blue toned and looks very solid- still absolutely stunning!
